Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer Policy

Legendz takes its legal and regulatory responsibilities seriously. This page explains how we prevent money laundering, verify player identities, and protect both our platform and our users from financial crime. These measures are required by law and help keep gaming fair and secure for everyone.

Identity Verification (Know Your Customer)

You must be at least 18 years old to open an account with Legendz. We only allow one account per person. During registration, you provide basic personal details including your full name, date of birth, address, and contact information.

Before you can withdraw funds for the first time, we will ask you to verify your identity and address. This usually means uploading a clear photo or scan of a government-issued ID (like a driver’s license or passport) and a recent utility bill or bank statement showing your name and address. We use trusted third-party services to check these documents quickly and securely.

Verification protects you and us. It stops fraud, prevents underage access, and ensures that winnings go only to the rightful account holder. If we cannot confirm your identity, we may suspend withdrawals or close your account.

Anti-Money Laundering Measures

Legendz follows strict anti-money laundering (AML) procedures required by state gaming regulators. We monitor all transactions for unusual patterns that might suggest illegal activity. Large or frequent deposits followed by quick withdrawals, inconsistent funding sources, or attempts to move money through multiple accounts may trigger additional checks.

We do not accept cash, cryptocurrency, or payments from third parties. All deposits must come from a payment method registered in your name. If you try to deposit using someone else’s card or e-wallet, the transaction will be declined and your account may be reviewed.

If suspicious activity is detected, we may freeze funds temporarily while we investigate. In serious cases, we report findings to the relevant authorities as required by law.

Responsible Gambling Tools

Gambling should be entertainment. Not a way to make money. If you feel it’s becoming a problem, take action early. Legendz offers several tools to help you stay in control:

- Deposit limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly caps on how much you can add to your account. These apply immediately. - Loss limits: Restrict how much you can lose over a set period. - Session limits: Automatically log you out after a chosen playtime. - Reality checks: Get pop-up reminders showing how long you’ve been playing. - Cooling-off periods: Take a break for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. Your account will be locked during this time. - Self-exclusion: Permanently close your account if you need a longer break. This decision cannot be reversed for at least six months.

Increases to deposit or loss limits do not take effect right away. They require a 24-hour waiting period to give you time to reconsider.

Warning signs of problem gambling include chasing losses, lying about how much you’ve spent, using gambling to escape stress, or borrowing money to play. If any of this sounds familiar, reach out for help.

Free, confidential support is available through the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) via their 24/7 helpline. You can also visit their website for resources and local counseling options.

If you share a computer or device with others, consider installing blocking software like Gamban or Net Nanny to prevent underage access.

Data Privacy and Security

We collect personal data to run your account safely and meet legal obligations. This includes identity details, contact information, payment records, and technical data like IP addresses and device type. We do not sell your information.

Your data is shared only with payment processors, identity verification partners, and state gaming regulators. Never for marketing purposes without your consent. All data transfers use strong encryption, and access is limited to staff who need it for their job.

We keep records for five years after your last activity, as required by AML laws. You have the right to see what data we hold, correct errors, request deletion (where allowed by law), or object to certain uses. Contact our support team to exercise these rights.

We use cookies to run the site (essential), understand traffic (analytics), and show relevant ads (marketing). You can manage preferences through your browser settings.

Fair Play and Account Management

Using bots, colluding with other players, or attempting chargebacks after placing bets violates our terms. So does creating multiple accounts to claim bonuses. If we detect bonus abuse, such as exploiting offers in ways not intended, we can void winnings and close your account.

Inactive accounts (no login for 12 months) may be closed, but any remaining balance will be returned after identity confirmation.

If you have a complaint that we don’t resolve to your satisfaction, you can escalate it directly to your state gaming regulator. They oversee licensed operators and handle disputes independently.
